Woodberry Chillcott Steel Services

We offer a wide and comprehensive stock of General Steels, Engineering Bar, Bright Steels and Alloys. This is fully supported by our first class cutting service offering next day delivery throughout the South West and South Coast Area.

In addition we stock a wide range of Plate which is fully supported by our in house specialist Profiling Centre offering both Gas and Plasma facilities.

The product ranges and service levels provided by Woodberry Chillcott are enhanced by being part of the Barrett Group of companies, which is one of the largest independent steel stockholding groups in the country.

The group consists of over 25 general steel depots along with specialist sites for Tubes, Precision Tubes, Engineering Bar and Profiling holding in excess of 80,000 tonnes of stock. With all of our sites having cutting capability and seven of them housing shotblasting and priming plant the Barrett Group offers large stocks and high levels of service across the country.

Our new Omega Steel site specialising in the processing of structural sections represents a £6 million investment in some of the most technologically advanced machinery available today. We have also added a Jumbo Laser Tube cutting machine, which is the largest one in the country and can process tubes up to 20" in diameter - Hollow Sections 400 x 400 & 500 x 300 in thicknesses up to 16mm, with a maximum input length of 18m and finished lengths of 15m. to the existing three laser tube machines at our specialist Tubes site.

Woodberry Chillcott Tools and Fastenings

Our Tools and Fastenings division is a market leader in Engineering cutting tools and related equipment. We deal with all of the major manufacturers and our sales team consists of experts in their field. Stock is held centrally at our Bristol site and distributed on our own fleet of vehicles.

We offer a wide range of tool vending and consignment stock solutions into a huge cross section of different industries.
